Before starting this I would walk briskly probs 5 days out if 7, taking in as many hills as I could find for around 20-30 mins. Can I still walk on my rest days? Not sure especially as left calf stiff/ aches? But feels odd to drop back even though it’s much tough doing C25K . Hope you can help. I’m on WK3R2.

Walking on rest days?

Well, I walk everyday, even on run days; I usually do something else on non run days too, cycle, swim, long distance walk, some weights, hoping to join a clas to do something too. If you've always done it, I would continue to do it.

By all means, walking is one of the best exercises. I walk as much as possible, especially during rest days and after long runs. Anything to keep the engine going is good for you!
Walking is good cross-training as the motion is different to running and uses muscles in a different way. For your calves - are you stretching them after your runs? If so and still stiff/achy you could try using a foam roller or even a rolling pin.
I run with my dogs and walk them on rest days 😊
