Fastest ‘recovery’ run yet

Short and sweet. I was made up when my friend’s teenager said he would get up on Sunday morning and run with me. It’s my fastest run yet, and he had to keep stopping and waiting for me to catch up!

I’m sure it did me good 😃

That's excellent. Good time too. Also good you get to run with someone else. Did you have music in ears or just get laughed at by the teen ?

Actually I will never catch him. He normally comes in the top 6 at Park Run. You know those guys who lap us beginners? He's one of those! It was still great. After 3km I'd had enough. I didn't even know he was a runner, I thought he was a cyclist 🚴‍♀️

Well, as long as when he laps me he says “well done” I’m good!

Some of those cyclists cross train well with the running... who knows maybe he’ll be the next Froome. Fair play to the lad for getting up early to run with you.
