Bit grey here MW. Temperature has dropped to about 20C.

Very true but the sea breeze and shade of the palm trees helped.

I'll be sounding like an old record, banging on about treadmills. Sorry.

Any treadmill is only going to give an approximation to your speed or pace, and it isn't going to be at all accurate. Most won't even tell you if they are displaying pace, or speed, and which units they are using (km/h or miles/h). Some treadmills even just give you an arbitrary number that doesn't actually relate to the real-world.

The purpose of the speed/pace setting for the treadmill is so that you know what number to set the next time that you use the treadmill. And if you nudge the number up, you'll run faster. One thing is for sure, the speed/pace that you run outside will have no relation to the speed/pace that you set on the treadmill. My experience is that treadmills are always over-optimistic and give you a flattering speed.

To answer your question: I suspect that the treadmill is giving you information in a different set of units. It may be giving you speed instead of pace, or using miles instead of km.

Who knows? You are still running for xx minutes: that is the most important piece of data.
