I completed my first week but it’s been 2 weeks now and I haven’t started my second week yet....

I don’t know where my ambitions gone!

I’m possibly putting too much thought into it.

Enjoyed it when I did it. Where’s my motivation disappeared to. ;(

I started my week 2 today. The best thing you can possibly do is get your trainers and and jump straight into it. After you get back into the swing of things, you will regain your motivation. Best of luck. You can do this!

Ask yourself - why did you start week 1? There must have been a reason. Assuming the reason still exists, remind yourself of it and get out there! Week 1 is the hardest, and you’ve done that.

This is about discipline not motivation 😊 stop thinking, set a time and (as they say) just do it🏃‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

I started this last year and gave up! But this year, I ran with another newbie once a week to keep me going. We also committed to a 5k charity run which gave me no option to quit! I’m still running because I’m scared if I don’t I will never be able to commit to it again 😂 Don’t rely on pure self motivation, find something that means you can’t give up. Now .... get those trainers on!

Don't rely on vague motivation. Decide now on the 3 times a week you will schedule in your runs, then just treat it as an appointment - when the time comes, go out and do it. A couple of weeks and it is part of your routine.
