I've never done more than run for a bus in my entire 67-year life, but after a few hiccups have completed week 9 and feel it's been really worthwhile. Keeping up with 30 minutes every other day to consolidate. As I like to listen to music whilst running, any recommendations as to you favourite music tracks to run to would be most welcome.

70s music all the way!! :o) I have a 'running' playlist of all my old favourites, the ones that make me feel happy when I hear them. Trouble is, I want to sing along which isn't good for my breathing! One great song to run to is Happy by Pharrell Williams, for me it has the perfect beat for running, it keeps me going and also makes me feel good in the process! By as misswobble says, there are so many songs it would be hard to recommend any specifically, we all have such different tastes in music. I would just say play the songs that make you want to get up and dance - it's as good a criterion as any!

You have run for a bus? I'm impressed. C25K must have been a doddle with all that athletics background I last ran for a bus 50 years ago.

Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

Keep running keep smiling.
Favourite running track........ Gimme Shelter by the Rolling Stones.........oh, and Spem in Alium by Thomas Tallis. Both uplifting in totally different ways.

Congratulations! I just use the free version of Spotify. Indie run mix and Oldies one.
Hi there! My favourites are “Despacito” ( Justin Bieber and somebody I can’t remember), “Big in Japan” (Alphaville) , “Losing my Religion” (REM), “Shape if You” (Ed Sheehan). A bit of country and western is good too. I’m 69 btw. I make up a playlist on my iPod and update when I find something new I like. Enjoy your running!

Well done. I’m in the hunt for good tracks too and there’s some excellent suggestions here to get you started. A lot of my stuff is 70’s but that’s probably just a reflection of my age and happy memories.
