Struggling a bit due to pain just below my knee. Not to mention getting out of puff but determined to finish. Just a bit worried I do permanent damage to the knee.

Depends on the pain. I never seek online medical advice and we aren’t doctors anyway, so the rule is if it’s persistent (pain) then go and see a physio.

Pain is the issue... take a couple of extra rest days would be my first step, then doctor/physio if it’s not improving.
Other than that you’ve done 25minutes 4 times, 28 doesn’t feel very different.

To reduce impact slow down, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
If pain persists get checked out by a medical professional.
