Yey - have made it this far & in a perverse way am enjoying myself.
Thanks for all the tips about watching speed - I think the message has finally got into my brain that I don't need to go fast, just to keep going. I still look like a beetroot when i finish but a slightly less deep shade of purple!
That last 5 mins of the W4R1 was hard this morning, but if you can do it once ....
Have also noticed my knees are complaining less & the strengthening exercises really do help.
Onwards ....

Good to read this, well done! I am doing w4r1 tomorrow and I’m so scared I’m going to find it too tough, it seems like a massive step up from w3! So your post is motivating me, and I’m going to take it slow (mind you I’m always slow!!).
Hi ! I did it! That was so hard, like you I found the last 5 min run the hardest, and if I was jogging any slower I’d be going backwards!! And beetroot red face too :-). But great sense of achievement!! Am slightly in shock ...
Thank you and yes it is such a good feeling of achievement! I do think it’s a very clever running plan (from my perspective as someone who’s never run before, always the last one to be picked in sport teams at school etc 😂).
