So I hurt my ankle and doc said no running for few weeks......started back on week 1 run 1 yesterday and felt like I never done it before! Hot sweaty lardy arse wibbly wobbling around with red face but I did it and i do feel better for it! Annoying to start from beginning again but these things need to be done! I am more determined and i have new trainers, am thinking about my technique, run route and pacing myself so heres to thursdays run......

Here’s hoping you stay off the IC now. Great determination driving yourself through that one again. You’re gonna get there with this, you have the drive to push yourself through anything.
I fractured my ankle and sprained the ligaments too at end of June and finally started running again last week of September. Started back at beginning of C25k and I’m about to do wk5r2 this evening when my daughter gets home ( we are running together). I’m loving it now and know to take it slower if I need to but just so glad to be back out there.
Funny thing is I keep thinking I’m really slow and then get home and compare it to the first time I ran it back in March /April and I’m quite a bit faster. Must have been fitter than I realised.
