I was so excited to post last night and the app kept crashing!!!!! But here it is...
Had my usual 8 minutes to settle into the run then all was good after that!! As I approached the end my voice coach said ‘guess what?’ I just assumed I was finished but he said there is 60 seconds to go, run faster if you want-so I did with a huge smile!!! Loved it!
Run 1 and run 2 wasn’t without its issues but they were definitely there to prepare me for run 3 and it was so worth it!
I wore different socks and changed my route-because they say a change is as good as a holiday-I’m note sure what today’s success is a credit to but I’m just so happy I feel this way after a run again!!! Really looking forward to the next few weeks and the longer runs 😃

They are swans! Lots of swans-over 20!!!! They keep coming into the pavement beside me!!
Can quite believe my post has a reply saying I’m on my way to the podium-I’m used to reading others saying this and now it’s me!!! It’s gone so fast but I feel I’ve really achieved something!
This was even better than week 5, 20 minute run! Can’t wait for the long uninterrupted runs now!
Woohoo! I’d say that the success is a credit to the hard work you’ve put in following a very good plan... well done. You’ve got this now, all running and tiny steps up.
Thank you! It definitely helps being in the forum-I can see how many people would just give up after a bad day and not realise it’s just a blip and actually a way forward to the next run, and a good run at that!!!
