I got out there and did it - so pleased and thanks in no small part to the encouragement on here! I actually found the 90 second runs easier, I think because I stopped clock watching and also slowed down slightly, from 6KPH to 5.5KPH. I can and will do this.
W2R1 done π: I got out there and did it - so... - Couch to 5K
W2R1 done π
Well done Pickles! I also found it easier, I think it's because there were only 6 runs rather than 8. So after the first one was done all I had to think was '5 more runs' instead of '7 more'.
Well done Pickles π slow and steady wins every timeπ
Good job... slowing down will help... you are right you can and will... enjoy the next one.
Hi. Just finished my week 2 run 1 and although it was tough I so glad I finished it.ππͺπ». I am struggling with trying to maintain my breathing (4 in then 4 out). Any tips?
Hi! I am actually ok with the breathing and found that when I tried the four in four out I struggled more. I do a lot of counted breathing for anxiety and meditation and think that must be helping me π
Well done! I did the same run today and remarkably the 90s was ok - for the first time my mind wandered during a run section rather than just wondering how long was left π
Just to be clear, itβs not that this run was easier, itβs that you ran it better. Partly because you paced it better but also because the training is already making a difference.
