Ran Monday then did an intense hiit class yesterday. Wednesday has been my running day but my legs just weren’t up to it. I managed a great run (not sure if I believe what the app says I did) but will defo have at least a days rest in between from now on

Nice!

Do you think you could do your HIIT class on a day when you run, would the scheduling work out to run in the am and HIIT in the pm? Then you'd be able to do both and get a true rest day after.

Hiit isn’t on a run day but I don’t run now till Saturday so I could change my run to Thursday instead. I’m afraid I love my bed to much to go in the morning 😂

Oh I hear you on that one... the morning is really the only time that works for me, but it is SO HARD to get out of bed. I go to bed at 9pm and still, 5:20 comes far too early, I can come up with about 4 good excuses a minute as to why I should just stay in bed. Fingers crossed it soon becomes habit and gets easier... 🤞

Hopefully the running/HIIT combo gets easier with time!

I know I was fine doing morning runs while I was off work, was going about 8am but the thought of going out at 5.30 is horrendous and I’m so tired from work the day before plus the darker mornings are creeping in fast. I take my hat off to you for getting up and out early!

That is a very, very fast time... indeed...! My son in law who is incredibly fit and experienced is only managing a 4 m per K run!

Hi Run, very well done that is an incredible time, about 10 minutes faster than I did today, but I did get to run up Worthing pier and back! as it shows on my post earlier. Keep up the good work. Hat.

Thanks hatter, it was a tough one, my legs were really sore. It felt rubbish but by the comments on here I’ve obviously done better than I thought 😂 Glad to see your still out running and trying new routes, keep up the good work 😁
