W1R1 - Didn’t Collapse and die. YAY!

There was a time (a long time ago now) when I was pretty quick over 100 meters, but I have NEVER (ever) been able to run any kind of distance, and in the last 10 years, I’ve barely done so much as run for a bus. With this in mind, I was expecting breathlessness, stitch, cramp and a possible cardiac arrest tonight, but instead, I feel great! On to the next run on Friday 💪🏻😁

I hated your distance at school, not as much as the 400, but hated none the less. Great job out there... better conditions on Friday too, enjoy.

Thanks UnfitNoMore. TBF we were lucky with conditions - settled down a bit here in Birmingham.

My first today too, hard going but so glad I got started even though it was raining cats and dogs and the trees were creaking away.... pat on the back time

Very much so. Well done BigBear61 on a successful first run - not to mention for braving the weather 💨🌧☔️

Wow going out for your first run in that weather yesterday deserves a flipping medal! If you can motivate yourself to go out in conditions like that, you're defo graduate material!
