Which C25K app is the best for a newbie?

I have a friend who is keen to try C25K in the USA. Does anyone have a recommendation for which app is best for her to try?

Thanks Oldfloss ... she tried to get the NHS app but wasn't able to. She's using one from the USA now

If the NHS/One You app is not available in the States, she should be able to get hold of the podcasts, which give exactly the same information without recording your runs. nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/c... or you can download them and send them to her, as they are mp3 files.

Thanks Iannoda! She found a US-based app, as the NHS one wasn't accessible. She's on her way to being a runner now!

Personally I preferred the podcasts to the app. On the podcasts the music is a bit dreadful but it is designed by specialists to accompany the runs.
