Must slow down...

W7R3 complete yesterday afternoon. I am excited and trepidatious to complete this leg of my running journey. Yesterday I learned (again) that I do need to slow down and take my time. It is the journey, not the destination. Let week 8 commence with lessons learned!

Great job. Get through this and push once a week! Enjoy the 28s and the next week down.

You’ll smash W8 kwell. Just 3 little minutes extra per run. You’ve learned to slow down, so continue doing so and you’ll be fine! Good luck. 😀😀

It's a hard lesson to learn 😵

This morning my run was a the second 35 mins jaunt. Didn't feel great at the start but I've not stopped short yet so it's get on a do it. 10 mins to go and I'm asking myself "Why am I doing this?" Well I'm not wasting 20 mins of effort on an unfinished run so it's do what you know, slow down, one foot in front the other, slow down. So I reached the 35 min target and then had a 10 minute walk home. No prizes for guessing, personal best distance for that time. 😄😄😄.

No need for trepidation, fine to be excited though. 👍

Get that week 8 in the bag, and then it's just 3 runs to podium. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

You'll do it, we both know it 😃😃😃

Thanks Sparky and way to power through! I think hearing others struggles help us realize we are not alone and help keep the motivation strong!
