In just over 7 weeks of running every other day (excepting a couple of drunken weekends) I have just completed/graduated C25K by running non stop for 30 minutes 3x this week.
So proud of myself for this achievement and my level of commitment. It is unbelievable.
My graduation run felt quite academic as I have already run it twice happily (?) this week. The time for celebration for me, was W1R1 actually starting the challenge and my first 20 minute run which was very emotional, tears all the way. Today is acknowledgement and consolidation of all those runs I have completed and I am very thankful for all the support I have received from this group.
For me the next challenge starts Wednesday, to keep motivated and keep running. Fingers crossed for the next podcasts but I am so going to miss my running buddy Sanjeev! He's my hero π

Thank you!! I've already had a sneaky preview of your very informative post and downloaded the 3 apps. it mentions about downloading one without the intro from iTunes, would you know if there'san android version anywhere? Many thanks again for advice and cheering on π
Well done Gingernutter! πππππ ππΎπππ.
I agree with you that the next challenge is keeping motivated - I am currently trying to run 3x per week and bring my Parkrun time down below 45 minutes. A longer term goal for me is to get a Parkrun 50 t-shirt, but I estimate that's a 2-year horizon (I've done the grand total of 2 so far π€£.) What's your plan for next steps?
Oh my days, I am so sorry I missed this yesterday!!
You rock (and run!) and I am absolutely bursting for you. You, my lovely, are a RUNNER!!!
Gingernutter you have been the best virtual running buddy I could have asked for and you've picked me up when I've been down like an absolute trouper. Only three more runs and I'll be there on the podium with you!!
Oh thank you soo much boniobiscuits, I may have had a glass or two and some chocolate!!
My virtual pacemaker, always one step ahead of me (especially running at 5am while I lie in till 7am). Couldn't wait ewch day to hear about your latest exploits..wasp stings, sweaty pits and dog friendly sweat to name a few.
There's a space waiting for you next to me on the graduate program and then our running adventures will really begin...have an awesome day ππ xx
