LMFAO is the song I was listening to as I ended my 30 minute run this morning, and yes I feel damn sexy and damn awesome!!
I think from reading posts and personal stories on here that yes fitness is vital, but I think C25K fulfills a massive mental health need too. Are the two intrinsically linked? Is this the runner's 'high'?
For me, C25K has provided structure, focus and a positive self belief that I can do a whole heap more than I ever could have dreamed possible.
It has to come from inside, you have to believe and this program and the fantastic runners on here help you to realise that.
The photo shows stats for Thursday and today's run. Slowly slowly catchy monkey, I'm heading in the right direction.
I have however completed the personal equivalent of over a thousand marathons to get to where I am today 😊
