Did the first run of week 8 this afternoon and didn't feel I was in the right frame of mind in anticipation because I lost some momentum by being away but made sure I'd drunk plenty of water, did my stretches and gave myself a good talking to on the way to the gym and did it almost effortlessly - easier than the 25 minute one the week before. I was even tempted to try and keep going to see if I could do 30 mins but remembered the wise words of others - the programme is tried and tested and works so just follow it and don't try to be a smart-arse! Looking forward to the next run just not sure when I will get to do it

I could only run Week 8 Run 1 in the evening so i left it as late as I
