Why stay off the beer? I reward myself with a beer (or wine) after a run.. Hasn't done me any harm, still losing weight and getting fitter

Welcome! I started c25k a few weeks after my 49th birthday, determined to improve my fitness before I hit 50. The coming weeks will bring some challenges, but believe me it will be worth the effort.
And with regards to the beer, I used to treat myself to a Guinness after each run. After all, it's supposed to be good for you
