Dammit i failed. I was doing week 8 run1 and it started of messy. My watch decided it wont record so i was running trying to get it to work. Then i started starva and carried on. My music also stopped working ad started again. Then i had to stop to talk to someone for ten seconds and carried on. I check starva iit says ive been running for 15 minutes.... bur Michale wasn’t talking. Checked c25k turns out i paused it...

We never fail, we learn by experience. Runs like this are put down as practice runs. Well done for your practice run, and good luck with the next one 👍😁

Yh but damm is it demotivating. Im considering running fo 20mins for a few weeks so i can get comfortable with it and maybe increase my pace a bit .

It is, but I’ve usually found that a run like this is usually followed by a good one. Try it again after some rest, take it slowly, and I’m sure you’ll be fine 😁

We all have bad runs - don't be put off! As Wenderwoo says, the next one could be a great one! Sometimes it's the mental battle rather than the physical one which we need to win, if that makes sense?

Remember, the focus of Couch25k is to get us running for 30mins - which is why we advocate taking it steady and concentrating on that 'time on your feet'. Pace will increase naturally after this and can become a focus once you have completed the program and built up that base of fitness.

Good luck🙂
