Have a warm-up walk, then a gentle jog for a few hundred yards. Stop at the first sign of discomfort, but hopefully it'll be ok and you're good to go.

That all depends on the actual injury - swelling, pain or just discomfort? Bone, muscle, tendon? Knee, ankle, achilles...? Mine took months to heal and the physio told me when to run. You don't run until all discomfort's gone.

If it’s just been a few days only, you won’t have lost any fitness, so you should be fine picking up where you left off, but taking it really easily. And like Mike already said, stop if the injury plays up again.

Good luck - hope it’s ok! 🤞🤞
