Good morning all , it’s my first run on c25k (w1r1)..........my story is I started running around 3 years ago as a way to keep motivated after quitting smoking and to loose weight and get healthy ...... Iv not run for around 6 months maybe 8 months and have gained 3.5 stone 😭😭

Onwards and upwards 👍🏻

I’m literally carrying an extra person in weight so I feel for you. You’re doing exactly the right thing coming here and starting again. I’m repeating week 1 just now because I can’t even jog yet, but the trick seems to be to go steady, not to race at it. Encourage yourself to enjoy the process and repeat if required without guilt or anxiety. The goal isn’t 5k: it’s a healthy happy you 😀

You will get back to it nicely. I am on and off the program for some time now. My health or life usually decide to interrupt me, so I haven't completed C25K, not yet. I hope this time I will do it. You will notice that going back is a bit easier (not easy) than the first time :)

Happy running!

PS. I like your tattoo
