Repeated Friday's run today without any musical hitches, discovered prime music does not playoffline so have a free trial of their unlimited option which does work. Without distractions I was pleased to see an improvement I think, in my times. I'm a bit mathematically challenged at times so just checking that today I ran a section in 7.42 which Friday I ran it in 9.34 so that's less time to do the same section, right?? π€
All well and can definitely feel my legs getting stronger but little concerned I may be running a bit pronate on my right foot. I have insoles for my hiking boots which support the arch so might give them a go. Would it be a physio who would be able to assess if i need correction? I'm so close I don't want to take any risks!
Have a happy Sunday people whatever you maybe doing, I'll be buying a new sports bra as I seemed to have out grown mine π

Thank you jogunlikely it just kept saying no internet connection when I tried to play downloaded albums offline free user error no doubt! I'll have another bash π
First things first- have you had a gait analysis at a specialist running shop? They'll video you running and then be able to see if you are over or under pronating and advise on what shoes would suit you best to support them.
Physio isn't a bad idea, they 'll be able to tell you and pinpoint where the issue is that's causing it, as you know, my ankle pain has been caused by the mechanics much higher up (in my bahookie)
Sports bra - I am small in back and large of nork and cannot recommend highly enough the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra, it is amazing!!
Two top tips :
1) They are much cheaper on Amazon than from their website or in the shops
2) You MUST order a back size up from the size you normally wear, i.e. if you normally wear a 32 then order a 34
Well done on your run this morning. I'm looking forward to my 20-minute trot tomorrow with my new ankle supporting running socks
No gait analysis done yet I'll have to Google where they do it but I think my physio does it and maybe they'll only be hard sell in insoles rather than trainers π€
I had no luck today with the bras, I'm the opposite, wide of back with small fun bags so nothing either supported or allowed me to breathe. I'll have a look at Amazon, cheers for the recommendation. I guess it's the regular long runs now that are now raising the need for serious gear!
Oh and I've registered with Parkrun just to keep me focused!!
Hope all goes well on tomorrow's run, bet those socks are well sexy....πππββοΈ
