Omg completed week 5 run 3 on Wednesday did park run this morning, slowed pace right down wanted to complete at least half the 5k running, got half way and felt ok so kept running, only went and completed full 5k no walking at all, feel fantastic.

Now the complete the rest c25k, try pick pace up slightly for 5k fun run in October x

That’s amazing. I’m on W5 and my ultimate aim is to complete the parkrun. Very impressed 👍🏼

Do the parkrun now.. but follow the plan and walk the rest, then PB every subsequent run 👍

I have been considering that but very nervous. Do many people walk the end? Next parkrun would be my first 20 minute run. Definitely tempted 😁

Yeah loads walk it. My first Parkrun was week 4 run 1. Next one was the 20 min run of week 5 and then week 6 run 3. Have a look at your local one and you can see the times. You will never be last either as they have tail walkers

Thank you I went very slow, I had a faster time previous week when I ran for a bit then walked, if I'd felt the slightest niggle I'd have stopped, i always wear compression leg sleeves and knee supports, no aches today,

Back to following C25K now till graduation x

Yes. Slow and steady is probably better than aiming to achieve 5k under 30 minutes

I'll never do under 30 minutes, not even going to try I ran walked 1st Park Run in just over 43 minutes, and shuffled yesterday's in 43 minutes 23 seconds, so defo not pushing it x
