Silly Question Time

i've completed a few 20 minutes runs now, the first was a proper run C25K week 5 run 3, the 2nd was last night, fully intended to go for a walk, but it started raining and jogging was the quickest way home, ended up doing 20 mins again. i'm doing Park Run tomorrow and not sure whether to stick with the 20 minutes or push a bit further to see if i have any energy left in my tank. Don't want to risk injury as would like to complete C25K eventually. TIA

You can repeat a 20 for sure, your next run is the penultimate of the intervals... so I see the 20 may get you round parkrun marginally faster. There would be no harm. Pushing for 5k could end in tears 😭 or tears (of muscles) so I personally wouldn’t be risking it. Many people run/walk parkrun and there’s no shame on that... on the contrary you’re out there doing it lapping everyone who’s having a lie in.

Hi, week 6 starts with a 5mins and then 2 X 8 mins run with walking intervals. If you've had a rest day today then I'd do that tomorrow. Plenty of walkers at at a park run so nothing to fear.

P.s. there are no silly questions, never be afraid to ask. 😃😃😃
