As long as you don't run on two consecutive days, you'll be fine.

That would be fine, yes. Don't worry about the weeks so much, just always have a day's rest in between runs.

Not a silly question at all. It's up to you and how you feel. The only hard and fast rule is take your rest day, if you need more than one day that is ok. So do your next run when you feel ready for it. Good Luck with the rest of the programme.

As PippiRuns says... take your rest days... and if you feel you need two rest days, that is fine. Many folk do their runs, then have Saturday and Sunday clear, as rest days. This is your journey, do it your way, but take the rest in between runs! :)

It is good to stick to a routine (running the same days every week) but if this is not possible, be sure to have a rest day between

I had this same dilemma, I'd forgotten!! Some people like to do the 3 runs a week on set days, others fit in with life, but the main thing is to have the rest days which help your muscles grow :)

Never a silly question here.

I did my first run on a Monday so I set myself as running 3 times in Monday-Sunday.

If I had done my first run on a Saturday then I would have set myself as running 3 times in the period of Saturday-Friday.

Through c25k I rigidly stuck to fixed days as at that time it helped me to find no excuses. Now I'm far more relaxed and just fit runs in as suits best but I still have the frame of 3 runs Monday-Sunday and always have at least one rest day between.

Keep going :)
