Started this programme a few weeks back, but after two runs on the road my knees were agony. Took a while for the pain to disappear and now I’m back....but on a treadmill. W1 in the bag & no pain! Bring on W2R1 tomorrow!

Keep it slow and keep it steady and well done.. Maybe if you head out again...a park or a field.. tracks or trails?

That’s great news... roads are something I avoid, grass, non-tarmac paths and a bit of mud are where I’m happiest and they’re easier on my knees. You tried and got hurt, that would have some people quit and disappear from here quietly. You, well that’s not you, you don’t quit, you healed and you thought about it, and now you’re back doing it... great job on week one... onwards!
