I've been running on my own since starting c25k so had no idea what my "technique" was like. So I got my OH to film me the other day. Very interesting to see my legs move ok but my right arm seems to be lower than my left and it makes me look a bit lopsided🤔. Also my shoulders look rather hunched up. Makes me sound like Quasimodo 😂😂.
Seriously though, I'll try and work on my arms/shoulders and see if it makes any difference.
Can't believe my next run is W9r2!!

Well done like everything else it takes time and practise to improve ourselves and get better at what we do..you are nearly there at the end of the program
Get through graduation... then have a play with Saucony Stride Lab... it uses video and some exercises to analyse your form and give you specific tips and exercises to improve.
That’s brave of you! Just think Paula Radcliffe, world class runner with a unique running style.
I really don’t want to see myself run. I ran past some shops with big glass windows once and saw my reflection, oh dear! In my head I was an athlete sprinting through the streets like a gazelle that had escaped from the zoo, but what I saw in the glass was very very different!
I also do that thing where my shoulders just kinda ride up. To help stop it I either flap my hands at the wrists or flap my arms from the shoulders, I probably look like I’m trying to fly, but it helps to bring my shoulders back down.
Hope your penultimate run is fun...think ‘a gazelle that has escaped from the zoo...’. Good luck!
I have an absolute tonne of tics I can't stop doing, most of the time when I'm stressed, I look like I have st vitus dance! When I run and for the few hours afterwards, it's all free and easy, no twitches or nothing! Gotta love the feeling of having no anxiety and no need to tap on things!
