Oh dear, what a nuisance. All going well up to W4 Run 2 when I tore a calf muscle. Now it looks as if I will not be running for some time and will have to go back to who knows where. Advice online says rest for 3 days. Being self-employed that is no option so made very slow progress around London today. All sound advice welcome.

Ouch..if it is a torn muscle it will be longer than three days...sorry. I was on the IC for quite a bit longer.. and mine was a minor tear...Maybe get checked out by a Sports Physio... always best to make sure...I had acupuncture from my Physio... an exercise regime and a slow return...!

Ouch. Rest it as much as you possibly can. Hope it heals well.

Many thanks. I will do my best to take it easy. Working from home today so much easier to do so. The pain is less today so that is a positive.
