I recently got a Garmin Forerunner 235 running watch, the Garmin Connect App and I have linked that to Strava and MyFitnessPal (to record calories in) , like you I love stats and analysis, this gives me everything I could want
Yes, you can, I did for a while before getting the watch, strava gives you plenty of stats, plus there is a big community of C25K ers on Strava to connect with
Thereโs several, MapMyRun, Strava, Nike+ Run Club, and more. Theyโll all show your running progress... later.
None of them will show your fitness progress, and thatโs all that matters getting through this. Going for speed and/or distance is not gonna help. Track by all means, but best advice is analyse those stats after graduation... getting hung up on pace or how close you are to 5k will only distract your mind. I track, I donโt look at the stats.
Do what I did and download several have them all going for one or two sessions then stick with what you like
With all these things if you make your post public and you run from your front door then make sure you have the privacy settings so people can't pinpoint exactly where you live.
I use Runkeeper now but like the stats on map my run. Had used Strava up to that point when I was walking a lot but don't like the stats you get on the free version.
Hi Claire I use MapMyRun to record my data. It shows speed, distance, time per km, elevation and split times. It also has a community where you can make friends, join challenges etc ๐๐โโ๏ธ
I use mapmyfitness, I put everything in there, runs , swims etc. It's great. Also I find the free app great. It actually stops me from over training on the runs.
