hitting a wall week 2 r2

hey ive finally got to w2 r3 but all this week i cant seem right through it without hitting a wall on the third run.i can do 2 whole runs at 9o seconds but then on the third i have to slow down early by 10 seconds and by the fourth im bearly doing a 60 seconds.its discouraging because i come home feeling like i have cheated and havent got the full workout.any ideas

The answer is in your post. If you’re capable of slowing down, start the run at that pace. It’ll be more comfortable and you’ll get a lot more success and feel better. Keep trying and you shall succeed.

thank you yes im still trying to go to fast i start of alright then seem to get quicker

Wherever running takes you, bear in mind that 99% of world records were set with negative splits (slower start, faster finish) and I do love to go fast. I start my runs slowly and when the end is in sight, in that last 60 seconds, I let the workout have whatever I have left in the tank. That 60 second speed fix is enough for me at the moment.
