The holiday took over!

I was just on my sixth week when I moved to America for the summer and was doing well with the app in which I could run for 25 mins. At the beginning in America I did 2/3 runs however with the hot weather/work/ and general holiday takeover I stopped altogether. Now I want to get back on track after 8 weeks of no running!!! I’m wondering does anyone know of a good place to start from? Ideally wouldn’t want to start from the first week!

Much thanks

You’ll most probably have lost a little... part of me says go for a 25 and see how far you get, another thinks maybe the 8 intervals from W6R1 would test you easier.

That’s the thing I was going to go and try the 25 mins again but wouldn’t want a bad result from that to lower my confidence! Yes the 8 intervals may be easier! Thanks so much for the advice

There is no bad result... you could even just start a stopwatch and go... that would show you where you are at without attempting anything, maybe that’s better for confidence?

So I did the week6 r1 and completed it!!! (with a two second pause due to an immense stitch in the final interval) So happy to take it from there. Thanks for the advice and best of luck with your journey
