W3R1 - time is a funny thing.

I did it and it wasn’t so bad! I didn’t feel like I was dying as much. Although, 3 minute walk in between was much appreciated. The most surprising thing - it was over so quickly! I can’t believe it’s still the same overall time! In a funny way the 60s in week 1 felt longer than the 3 minutes. I had to change my speed though. I went super slow - like legs barely lifting up behind/ falling forward. I didn’t think I could go any slower than I was but it turns out I could. In other news, I finally found some old joggers that don’t fall down when running! The plan for this week looks horrible on page than it does when running so if anyone is dreading it like I was - don’t and have a go. To think I almost almost put it off for tommorow and just go for a stroll for today. But, glad I changed my mind as soon as I left the door.

Sounds like a few breakthroughs in that run. Well done. Finding another gear, especially a slower one, is really gonna help in this and the longer term. Getting out there when you don’t want to? That says RUNNER... keep going.

👍👍 Good job x

Glad you found joggers that you're comfy with. No girl wants a public wardrobe malfunction 🙈

I thought the same too. I always run the same route and my turn back point was much sooner. Glad Run 1 of this week is done. Glad you found some stay up pants! 😲

I've dropped behind by a couple of weeks, but just done Wk3 Run 1. I know what you mean about time. It seemed to be over quickly (overall), but yeah those three minutes were hard!

Well done! That’s okay, I had a setback too. I finished W3R2 last Monday and then got a cold :/ My body ached and I only just felt better today to try the next run! Those 3 minutes are still a killer

It’s so funny how we still don’t trust the program fully! The run doesn’t have to be perfect. Slow down if you need too. Good luck, you can do it!! It’ll be over before you know it
