I am now in week 6 and running 25 min.
For the past two runs I have been getting some really bad belly cramps - a bit like terrible period cramps.
Any suggestion on where this comes from and how to avoid it?

Hydration can make a big difference to the stomach area and lack of hydration can cause cramps. Core muscles may also need some workouts on rest days. There are other things it could be, a checkup at the GPs can rule a lot of things out.
My bet would be core conditioning though as we all started this unfit... so why would we have strong cores? I’m doing some work on this area... that said after a couple of months I can still do precisely 0 sit-ups!
