I’ve done it 20 minutes boom! To anyone who is coming to that stage it really is mind over matter! I was really stressing about running for 20 minutes, put it off and then just decided to get it over with put on my running shoes and set off. We were half an hour from home so I asked my husband to set off after 30 minutes to pick me up on the way. That meant I couldn’t track where I was on my usual route and just kept going, spurred on by a couple of old chaps sitting enjoying the evening sun shouting ‘go on gel keep running’ halfway - keep going run to the next speed sign then to the next gateway and finally to the church 20 minutes done with Europe the final countdown playing - it felt great and if I can do it so can you!
