So yesterday instead of my usual park run, I walked the Yorkshire 3 peaks for PAPYRUS,a charity supporting the prevention of young suicide..
I did it in 10hrs 33mins....now I have 5 blisters on the soles of my feet, bruiyyou wouldn't believe (but if I can work out how to post the pics I will lol), and my legs are hating me right now. They won't move in protest. Will I be doing the park run this week?? I dont know. I have to learn to walk again before I can run..but I'll catch up with l your runs on here

Well done for completing the walk 😀 a good cause to have a bit of pain for. Remember to keep moving (as much as you can with blisters) so your muscles don’t stiffen up to much.
I think I read somewhere not to burst blisters so they can heal.
Thank you, I might get some. I had all proper hiking gear, blister socks, full boots, job lot. Lol it was gruelling. Coupled with the fact that I don't like heights it certainly was a challenge.
