My first run without my teenage running buddy!

Oh how I missed her!

And of course, on this hot September day literally the only chance I was going to be able to fit in the slightly harder run was at 1pm and in 25 degree heat.

But, I did it and other than being very thirsty afterward, I didn’t feel to bad at all. I’m not saying I didn’t notice the increase in the length of the run intervals but felt I had recovered well in the walks to be more than ready to go again.

Just as I was about to start my last run section my music playlist changed to Modern English - I melt with you, totally appropriate song especially with a first line of “moving forward using all my breath!”

Roll on Monday though, I’ll have my running partner back!👍🏻
