So.... I had to cancel my wk7r1 today due to body pump class yesterday, it was very squat based needless to say I can hardly walk so I didn’t think running today would be a good idea. I have forced myself to walk 5k though. I’m hoping the muscles feel better after a long hot bath

That class you go to sounds to me very nasty😥"body pump class" 😪ouch, seems like a punishment exercise class . No wonder you have been struggling to walk 5k after doing all these squats, I hope you recover from your injury and hope you enjoy your journey with the 5k running as soon as possible 🙆
But take comfort in having the most toned glutes on the block

Squats are great for knees and glutes so it should benefit your running so long as you don’t over do it.
A body pump class would make me run. Obviously in the opposite direction. Good call on the walk, the run will be waiting tomorrow.
It was surprisingly enjoyable at the time 🤣🤣 definitely think I made the right decision though and not attempted any running today
I love pump. I’m new to running but have done pump for a while. It gets easier... promise! I remember the 1st time I did it... it was 2 days later when I really felt it!!! I’m just about to start week 3.. hope I get to week 7!
