Painful knee!

Seem to have developed a painful left knee, not too bad when running, just running with a slight limp. Still ran for 35 minutes. At the end I was in a bit of pain and area of knee appeared burning hot (not actually hot). Have noticed recently when standing that it suddenly, for no apparent reason it seems to "flex backwards" against the joint, very painful.

Anyone else had similar?

PS I'm not a youngster.

It is not wise to run with a limp as it will cause knock on effects.

Take care.

Sounds to me John that you need to find a physio and sharpish. Don't run with a limp. And something that feels like a knee problem could be all manner of other things (hips tight, weak glutes, the options are endless). A decent physio should sort you out quickly though. Take care xx
