Feeling good

Started this prog last year for a wedding then gave it up. Started again, wanted to loose a stone and look good for my 70th. Now on week3, week 4 looks a bit daunting tho.

Slow and steady is the way . If you find a week hard you can repeat it . C25K is not a race ; you can go at your own pace . It took me 11 weeks to get to 30mins .

Honestly trust the programme (its a bit like Feel the Force Luke!) it doesn’t work and you don’t even have to believe it !!!

I did the first run of week 4 after many reappears of week ,3,2 and 1. If felt fine. I am jogging not bouncing and feel I have finally tapped into muscles that don’t mind running. I’m 67, never run before but enjoying it and needed to lose 2 stone. Now 1/2 astone lighter and still wanting to lose more. The jogging motivates and helps.

Hi keep going it would all work out. Take it slow and steady and you would get there I have been through those weeks and runs and felt like I wouldn’t be able to move on. But I have and I’m in week 7 now and enjoying it immensely. So will you.
