So having graduated this week from couch to 5k decided I had to pluck up courage and attend aParkRun. Was very nervous but atmosphere was great. We all set off and although there were a couple of points when I had to walk as not used to hills I completed in 40.25 minutes. To say I was proud would be an understatement. My lovely man and two Newfadors were there to cheer me on as well. So at 60 Years old and not having run for over 45 years may just have found a new obsession, going to do it all again next week having run some more 30 Minte sessions. Can't quite let Laura go yet so will continue to run with her encouragement. Large glass of wine this evening!
