After my last 2 runs I've developed a really sore big toe, it doesn't hurt during my run but afterwards.
I was out running this morning at 9am and it's still throbbing, any ideas or advice?

Not sure Dougalucy, might be a corn, if so you could put on a corn plaster. I have had a slight corn on the bottom of the toe next to my big toe for years, it was aggregated when I was doing C25K but I finally got rid of it when I applied a more expensive corn plaster
🤔 I'd be looking at shoes too. Don't forget, your running shoes should usually be bigger than your street shoes...
There's a lacing technique to take the pressure off your big toe if the sizing is ok too.

May help sort you out....
Trainers should usually one size bigger than your normal shoes; there needs to be a gap of about a thumbnail's length between your actual big toe and the end of the shoe....
Thanks everyone, I've been using my running shoes for the last few months with no other problems but you could be right there doesn't seem to be that extra thumbnail space, so maybe time for gait analysis. I've been put off this before as the very expensive trainers I bought at that time gave me so much pain I use them to cut the grass 😂
