Week 6 run 2

Had hoped this jogging business would feel a bit easier by now. I jogged a different route today, along the Thames which wasn't such a good idea as part of the path was very narrow and uneven and I now have a twinge in my knee. Will do run3 on Sunday but after that I'm on a long holiday which will include plenty of walking but no jogging. Will have to decide where to pick up when I get back.

Good job getting through another one. The break may well make you miss running. I know that’s hard to believe. At the end of the first week without running you’ll be stronger than you were... after two weeks probably at least even. It took us longer to become unhealthy than it is doing to gain fitness, so you won’t lose as much as you fear.

You should be fine going straight back into W7. Have a great holiday. Enjoy your walking. See how W7 goes when you get back but there's no need to do W6 again unless you're going to be lying on a sunlounger with cocktails for the next few weeks :-)

I'm not a beach person so I might be OK on my return. Did run 3 today, set off and stayed slow and completed it
