Well, I've had a sneaky peak and discovered that it's all just long runs from here on. I know I managed the 20 minute run fine so 25 should be ok. But that sounds really long....! Wish me luck for tomorrow. Any tips?

My problem was over confidence and setting off too fast (I'd done 20, how hard could 25 be!)

That was a painful lesson. Slowed down after that and it was much more enjoyable.

Yup, listen to this man ^^^^ Start slowly and go steady. And drink loads (of water) the day before you do it. Good luck!

Good luck- you can do it. I am doing W6R3 on Friday. Can see the light at the end of a 25 year tunnel!

What they said! Wherever you go with running, the longer the run the slower the pace. You’re right though, you can do it

Just run...The longer runs are perfect for relaxing into and letting your new running legs find their own happy pace... Start slow, stay slow and enjoy:)

No luck needed, just do what you have been doing..the legs will take you:)

Yep, as the other have said, start slooooow. You’ve done 20 minutes, 5 minutes more is very doable as long as you pace yourself. Someone said to me at the time ‘hey, it’s only one extra song on the playlist!’

Have fun and just relax into the run. Bet you’ll be totally fine.- and think how great you’ll feel! 😀😀👏👏

Take it slow. Listen to your legs. Do everything that Oldfloss tells you. Always.

Once I got to the "no walking break" runs I stopped using the app and just used my HRM to time me. It was strangely liberating to be running naked :-)

Good luck - I’m at W6R2 so will be interested to find out what you think of W7, I am not overly convinced

It was GREAT! I put it off yesterday as it was raining. But when I woke up this morning the sun was shining, I was full of beans and couldn't wait to get out there! And I loved it! For the first time I get why people love running. I am on an absolute high (didn't know what people were talking about after the 20 min run) But I totally get it now. And can't wait for week 7! 😄 Let me know how you get on 🤞🍀

Don't sweat it... every run you have done has got you through and built you for the next ..

Run it nice and slow and then go slower still if you need to..

This now as much about believing in the program and yourself now 😁

You will be just fine .. Go for it
