Well I repeated the last run of week five as part of my re-hab and all went well 😃
However downing a can of diet coke twenty mins before wasn’t a good idea 😩
It was an exercise in mind over bladder 😬 it was so awful that instead of walking round the grave yard as part of my cool down I legged it through the gate and just about sprinted home.... thank god I live next door.

I’d been out walking with friends we stopped for a drink, when I got home I had a spur of the moment urge to run ... piss poor planning as they say ... quite literally 😂
😂😂. I’m nursing my good knee as it decided to follow my bad knee with identical pain, right knee is so strong... sadly this means I don’t need to be hydrated tomorrow 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
I graduated a few weeks ago then thought I was a supreme athlete in my new shoes and managed to pull a muscle so didn’t run for four weeks, I’m just trying to re hab....gin helps !!
It’s a great programme I was running 5k and loving it before I got injured ,it’s been amazing following other runners and sharing their ups and downs 😀
Coo! I'd be burping and farting all the time on a run if I had that! 😁
Best not to drink anything much for about an hour before running, and in that time keep visiting the loo to empty the bladder. I have a glug of water just before going out of the door, if it's very warm you could take some water with you... But shouldn't need any during c25k if kept well hydrated..
Hey Amanda!! Well that surely increased your speed then!! Glad you won the battle!! 😉! These things happen and we learn for next time. Well done on your rehab run!! ❤️
I was watching something on telly last night..Live Well for Longer I think k ..they reckon that milk is a good for dehydration, staying in your system longer than other drinks.
Haha! Fizzy pop not good before runs! Makes me feel blown up like a balloon too! Well done for making it home. Couldn’t you have popped behind a grave stone? I’m sure the residents wouldn’t mind 😂😂😂
Unfortunately a rather large new housing estate surrounds the old grave yard and me doing a moony behind a grave stone probably would have resulted in me .... or my bum ending up in the local paper 🌝😀
