Felt that I needed to run faster, a common feeling I’m sure, but I stepped up the pace too far and ended up slowing to a brisk 10-20 second walk every so often. I still beat my pb’s but will pull back the pace to keep a steadier rhythm for R2

Absolutely right. There are ways to learn to go faster, but just 'going faster' during C25K isn’t one of them. The programme is already pushing you pretty hard, so take it easy. Not long now to graduation, then you can have all the fun you want with pace and distance. Good luck!

Thanks, for sharing this, as I have noticed there are no recovery breaks for those final runs. So as you mentioned, we all need to start slow, will remember this when I am in week eight.
