Wow! I am in awe of the progress everyone is making...I was due to start week 2 today but have decided to repeat week 1 as I think I need to get better at running first and I know I can do week 1..hopefully I will move on ....but doing this is quite an achievement for me anyway...keep running everyone!πŸ˜ƒ

Well done - wk1 is the toughest by far so congrats for getting out thereπŸ€—

You really don't need to repeat your runs if you've completed them. Every week it seems the step up isn't doable - and you start to question whether you can do it or are you doing it right - every one of us has done that - but this plan really works and if you've done one week then your body will step up for the next.

Keep slow and steady - if it gets tough slow some more - there is no too slow😊

Good luck x

Thanks for that..I keep thinking it doesn’t matter how slow I go as long as I don’t stop. Will keep at it but thank you for your encouragement!πŸ˜€

I think we've all thought "I can't do this week I'll repeat last". Although the step up seems huge, it's not really, you've made the biggest step, getting started.

As for running better, come watch me if you want a laugh. You're running there's no style to it for anyone, a rhythm that suits you will come in time.

There's lots of us here who all belong to "snailsRus" but we've done it.

Go for it, we're all with you! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

I did this too, in fact I repeated runs 1 and 2 of week 1, then moved on. Now I'm approaching week 4, feeling apprehensive but going to try it! I've found that I need longer than 1 day to recover (shins), do if I was running exactly to the program I'd be halfway through week 6. No one's checking up on you, telling you off for doing it wrong! You're doing it!!

The hardest part of C25K is the very first run; getting out of the door and starting - and you have done that.

W2 isn't as bad as you imagine. Just take it easy, don't rush or push yourself and listen to your body. We have all been there and done it, and there is no reason why you can't. I hope you don't mind, but I have attached a Youtube video of one of my running inspirational heroes. If Roger can do it, any of us can...
