Jogging is fine. As you get fitter and stronger you will speed up a bit but for now just focus on jogging for the set intervals. If in doubt slow down.

Keep going with C25k and it will fall into place. listen to your voice coach, go slowly and you’ll be fine. Have you read the notes which accompany the They’re on a sticky on the right hand side of the page

We learn to run ! Just go nice and steady and it will happen. You see! One session at a time. Keep calm, relax. That’s half the battle 👍🙂

Well done, impressive weight loss too. I’d get through the 9 weeks before looking at form too much.

Hey, you are doing brilliantly! Look at what you've achieved in 4weeks! Be kind to you.

Take it one run at a time. Your doing really well. I’m overweight as well need to lose about 4stones, reduce my cholesterol and eat more healthy. So i have a lot to do, however, I’m taking things slowly, to get a permanent result. A new healthier me.

You might like to look at a video that features an individual who took up running: its called “running for my existence”. Another, C25K recommended it, why not have a look and see what you think.

In a very similar situation... I don't think I've actually 'run' or jogged at all since I was a teenager, some 40 odd years ago. Finding even week one almost impossible as my legs just don't know what to do and the most I can manage honestly is about 10 paces at anything more than a walking pace unless I'm going downhill, never mind the fact that I'm almost on the point of collapse just doing a 'brisk' walk! However, I think probably the key thing is to keep trying... take it at your own pace and to do alternate days without the voice in your ear. I am finding that music to walk to makes a huge difference too.
