Started C25K a few weeks ago. Hung from doing very little, this was a big jump. But enjoying it, although if you were to ask me while I’m doing it, you might get a very different reply...😜 Coming to the end of week 2 at the moment.

Good start... early runs need determination, enjoyment during comes a bit later. Use the enjoyment after each to drive you into the next.
What a great project that would make, a little C25k documentary. Interview subjects before a run, during a run, after, and on rest days. I'd love to see the raw emotion and visceral truth of in the moment new runners. I love the positivity and kindness here, but we're at a remove.
Let's talk to someone with a pebble in their shoe, terrified to stop. Someone regretting the choice to not bring water. Someone riding the runner's high. Someone considering quitting with every step. Someone really fast. Someone with the challenge of a dog with them.
"... with a pebble in their shoe, terrified to stop..." You got it exactly there! While I was running earlier, I realised that I hadn't put my running socks on properly and the left one was rubbing. I was really determined not to stop on my first 25-minute run so just kept going, but for ages my whole existence seemed to focus on that flipping sock rubbing. Luckily, a car drove past so I had to concentrate on not being run over and I forgot about the sock until right now, about an hour later.
Sorry to hijack your thread, BenderRodriguez; what I really wanted to say was go you! You can do this!

Well done you!!! Did you check this post out... there is a lot of great advice there....
Mainly , keep it slow and steady...it really works.... and lets you begin to enjoy it.
Just relax into the runs... try to land lightly, breathe gently and move forward gently!
