After a difficult w6, where I really struggled with every run and was doubting that I could ever achieve this. I have just returned from w7r1, and smashed it! Really enjoyed the run - well most of it and now feel elated and ready to take on the rest of this program.
I made a few changes and not really sure what helped or if it was a combination of all of them. New running shoes, slightly different circuit - I changed the end of the run to somewhere new so I had new things to look at, different tunes, it was cooler today and I ran slower!
Feeling so pleased with myself π

Well done you! I'm also finding w7 much nicer than w6, it seems easier to keep running rather than the intervals (and I never thought I'd be able to say that!). Good luck and keep going! ππ
Well done - you're doing great - keep going - the weeks have flown by for me - yes it's been tough but it's amazing how much better you feel once those longer runs start to feel normal and very much doable.π
Thanks Bandit, I think you a right the longer runs feel so much better than all that stop starting of earlier weeks
Congratulations!
One good run can turn everything around, can't it?
The cooler weather today is a blessed relief. Today is my first time running that I wasn't sweating during the warm up. Literally. The lack of humidity is everything.
Well done .. back on track ...you have got this now Sandi π
Great Sandi! Well done. Sounds like youβre making it work and now you know youβve achieved and enjoyed a 25 minuter, youβll have W7 in the bag, then W8 and then the finish line will be in sight!
You should be very proud of yourself! ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
