How did you get on? I had to keep telling myself to go with small incentives like "keep running until this lampost" and so on.
It wasn’t too bad although I could defo feel it in my legs. The first 3 mins seemed to take forever! I distracted myself by singing in my head! I like your technique though. Are you in the same week @shub69?
Yes I just did W3R1 myself this morning. The first 3 mins was definitely a shock and the second 3 mins a bit - just a bit - easier. By the end my legs must have been full of lactic acid. Felt like concrete blocks.
I think it was Laura saying something like "No matter how much it hurts, push through the pain and the sense of achievement at the end will be worth it" was what really made me get through it.
Congratulations!! I remember posting something very similar in week 3..and now I'm saying that about running 5 minutes in week 4!!! Whoop whoop x
